Okay, I know when hooking an LED that is lower voltage, I have to use resisters to match with a car's 12volts. So what if the voltage of the LED is higher than the source I'm taking it from? I plan to replace the the stock Viper 791VX with brighter ones. I read somewhere that these are 2volts right? The led I plan to install specs are Forward Voltage (V) : 3.2 ~ 3.6 / Reverse Current (uA) : <= 30. How do I wire them if I plan to install one and what about if I want to install two? Can I just install them without the resistors? Thanks

you won't need the rersistor if the supply is less than 5 volts. if it is greater than 5 volts a 50 ohm rersistor will drop the voltage 1 volt, 100 ohm resistor will drop the voltage 2 volt and etc.. etc... seeing your led is 3.2 - 3.6 than it should be just fine with a 5 or lower voltage and operate accordingly.hoped i helped lol
