I have an issue with my instrument panel lights..THEY ARE NOT WORKING!!!! All fuses are fine. I recently was reinstalling my cd player, and I noticed a spark from the antenna cable(?) Not sure why it did, but it did...i heard a 'snap' sound come from the fuse panel area..and sisnce then, no lights. It's effecting the temperature control panel, and cruise control lights on the stearing wheel...all other lights are working fine! Oh yeah, and the ash tray light is out as well. Ay suggestions would be welcome..it may be the switch itself shorted out. If I had a wiring diagram of the switch, i'd test it. PLEASE HELP......I'M LOSING MY PATIENCE!!!!

sounds like maybe a relay in the fuse box. part of the antenna is grounded did you touch it against a power wire?

I'm very grateful for the reply...no, it did not touch a power wire. And I'm assuming the fuse box you are referring to is the one under the hood, cuz there's no relays in the one in the truck. I did check the ones under the hood(fuses), but don't know how to tell if a relay is bad. Thanx again for replying.
