hey i installed a roll pan with led lights for the taillight and brake signal lights. I got everything wired up and works fine. except the leds dont have resistance like the bulb so the flasher flashes really fast. I know you can get low resistance flashers but not for this truck. only 2 or 3 prong flashers. the one in this truck is a 4 prong my question is can i modify the flasher in the vehicle to work. or is ther another solution available?

i dont know if they make a solution for this . but what i would do is get a resistor to get the resistance higher to get a slower flash. you will need to figure out the total resistance you have now from the leds and then adjust accordindly. lol

He needs to reduce the resistance, not increase it. The original bulbs have a resistance of ~1/2 ohm, and the LEDs are probably around 25 ohms effectively for a 15 LED array.

ff is wrong. you do have to raise the Resistance. i would lean towards retrofitting the Heavy Duty Blinker to your truck. The heavy duty blinker will blink at a constant rate, regardless of the Resistance.
