My 1997 lumina sedan's  drivers side brake light suddenly stopped working.  I check the fuses, tested the wiring,  and changed the bulb.  The turn signal works perfectly even with the brake applied.  At first I thought  there was a short ing the wiring.  But  I would be blowing fuses if that were the problem.  I have no problem with the center or right side lights.  Anyone with suggestions please help me.

The bulb socket might need a little cleaning.
