i want to get those christmas lights that twinkle and wire them into my car somehow. i would need 12 volt though right? i don't want to run through an inverter or whatever. maybe you know of any other options to get a strand of lights to twinkle or fade or whatever? i think it would be nice to be able to get the lights that you can set to flash and fade different ways in my car. i guess i don't need 12 volt but it would be much preferred. i'm open to any ideas. this is going to be probably wired through my dash lights or someting that comes on with te headlights

yeah, thanks. i don't know what to do. i'm still looking. i really want the fading ones, that's the who;e [oint of them.

if i got a dtrand of 12 volt ones and 110 volt wired the same way with the fader thing (i think it's called chasing) and cut that out and wired it into the 12v strand would it work just the same?
