My son just got a '91 Camaro RS for his 16th b-day. I installed the IROC grille and have a set of OEM driving lights. Being he is a new driver and his car being a darker blue and harder to see at times, I was thinking that I would wire the driving lights to operate like daytime driving lights.

If I tap off of a terminal in the fuse block that energizes with the ign. sw. would I need a relay to help with the current draw?

I was planning on using a switch to kill the power to the lights if necessary.

All suggestions and recomendations are highly appreciated.

I would reccomend using a relay simply because they are inexpensive, and it is better to play it safe. By using a relay you will not disrupt any fuses or other electrical mechanisms.

and by the way cool car!
