I'm working on a '94 Chevy Suburban 3/4 ton with a 454. Now, i understand the basics of wiring and most of the principles behind it. But i'm lost with where i even begin for this:

Question 1: just purchased a pair of new headlights. in addition to your ordinary hi/low beams, there is a led halo around the high-beam (containing 4leds per halo, 1 halo per headlight housing) and a soft ambiance type of buld hidden off to the side to illuminate the high-beam housing.  So here's the question: the halo is powered by 2 sets of wires (12V+ and a GND) for each headlight and the smaller light has a 12V+ and a GND. I'm wondering if i can use a junction bar to pair up the halo's wiring into one wire to run to modular fuse box i purchased (box from sierra marine, mdl#: FS40740) which i'm assuming i can. problem is i have no clue what the draw of those 4 (8 in total combing both headlights) LEDs would be (and why they even wired it with 2 sets of 12v+ and GND to begin with) and what size fuse i would need to use in the box. and ditto for the draw of the smaller bulb. i want to be able to turn on the halos and mood bulb(?) seperately using 2 switches.

Question 2: How exactly should i go about wiring the bus bar (also from sierra marine, mdl#: FS40750)(bus bar for other accessories already on truck - all of which are connected directly to battery terminal at the moment)  and fuse box (i'm going to be mounting them on thick HD plywood that'll be painted for flame-retardance). I know that they obviously need a 12v+, but do they need to be fused for either of them? secondly, do they also need to be grounded? and about those other accessories already on the truck, can i just wire them to fuse box, and using the correct fuse there, cut out the inline fuses that are scattered all around?

I realize that's a lot to process, but i really need some help. so i guess what i'm looking for is maybe someone who can explain to me what i need to do with all these wires and the jungle of them thats already under the hood - brother's handywork - (and why i need to do it so it makes sense to me) as well as possibly draw up a diagram/schematic so i can see what the heck i'm doing (visual learner). Any other advice/information/tips/ideas would be great and thank you in advance for taking the time to reply.

P.S. - Absolutely love the site! It's helped me with countless questions i've had over the years!

ok im not sure of this bus bar...but here is what i would do....conect the positives with a 5 amp fuse ( leds use very little power } or 2 amp   and run the grounds to the switch.    each ground to the switch you will use for that light....and the other side of switch to ground

hope this helps.....xs

Thanks. That did help a bit, but i'm still kind of in the dark. Could you possibly throw a rough sketch together of what exactly you had in mind? that would be great. Thanks again for your reply.
