"You can send text, graphics, even digital photos to your wheels. AND YOU CAN DO IT WHILE YOUR DRIVING."

My favorite part.. Definately cool but I'm not sure what market they are going after. Most people that spend that much on rims the cars are hardly driven. The effect only works when the vehicle is driven. Also I wonder how fast you actually have to get going for it to look good. Definately looks like a highway only thing. Also I can't find it now but someone made something similar except they just screwed on the tire stem and you couldn't customize them as much. They were under a $100 from what I remember..

I think they should come with a default image that reads "dumbsh*t".  At $12K a set, only the people with more money than brains are likely to do this.  Cool technology, though.

i say just buy some hub cap spinners from your local AUTOZONE or PEPBOYS whatever....have your youngest son or daughter color on the "spinners"  and BAM!!! sheeeez you know how many boxes of crayons and spinning hubcaps you can buy with 12g's.

i guess the only drawback to that is you can't change the text while driving.

I've seen these, and I've been trying to do some research on an off topic from this - How are they installed. I know it has a reciever to receive information wirelessly, but the description says that 12volt is supplied from the car and no individual batteries are used. How is this?? anybody \have any idea how they do this??

Theres a spring loaded carbon brush mounted to the suspension that contacts a brass ring on the wheel.
