I want to replace the bulb in my heater controls which is a 74 with a Blue LED...they are the same size and i was wondering if it was possible to do...the LED bulb i have is 3/16'(5-mm),10ma...do i need to get a different bulb and how would i go about getting it to fit?

try looking on the internet, there are premade #74 LEDs in multiple colors superbrightleds.com have some to start, but continue and there may be some cheaper ones.
