my friend bought a h.i.d kit for his denali and we installed it followed the instructions needed and everything is set but the light wont turn on. any ideas why?

check your power and you may have to step up the surrent using a relay. You can wire a relay like this


pin 85 ground pin 86 possitive wire from headlight feed
pin 30 output to hid kit
pin 87a not used
pin 87 constant fused off battery.

try that but test to make sure the fuse has not blown

check ground as well ground on harness may not be strong enough.

and if all is good then maybe you have either a bad bulb or a bad balas. also some cars require ignition to be on turn ign on and check again.

just something stupid i thought i would throw it there

Polarity? HID bulbs got to have it proper. There are only 2 wires goin to the bulb (after the balast) ....switch'em
