Hey i recently wired my tail lights to a switch because there was a problem in the wiring and i couldnt drive at night so i needed an easy way out so i did this.....anyways it work for the first little bit but now every time i trn them on it blows the fuse, i've tryed from 10-30amps....its wired like this----> [battery]--->[fuse]---->[switch]---->[lights]

whats the wattage of the bulbs? the guage of the wire? and the amp rating of the switch?

not sure on th wattage, the guage of wire is ten from the engine then its connected to a 16 then to the fuse, and the amp rating for the switch is 15amps

15 amp fuse is correct for 16 guage wire. do not fuse higher than this. the fuse's are blowing due to a short.
did you run all new wire or tie into existing. you need to go thru the wiring and find it.

well i have a 10 guage comin from the battery then a few different interior lights conected to that
