hi,
if i put blue leds into my headlight enclosure, will it tint the light coming out with blue in it? i have these philips superbright headlight bulbs, which are supposed to make them blue, but it really doesnt give it much blue.

you should check your local and state laws as blue headlights, or blue lights facing forward on a car are illegal.

Yes, adding some blue LEDs will give some blue output, and; as stated previously, it is illegal.

#1 LEDs give out very little output relative to headlamp output- so the affect will be minimal

#2 The location of the LEDs will not be optimal in the housing- so the mix will be very poor.

#3 The only thing you gain from blue headlights is appearance. Blue lighting produces more glare, and the human eye cannot focus as well on it.
