How come when I plug in any light set up, trailer or boat, the blinkers flash super fast. If I un plug them it flashes normal?

you need a heavy duty flasher go to local autoparts place to get one remove old one install heavy duty one.  Problem solved the factory flasher can't handle the extra lights

Good advice- best choice would be an electronic flasher
