My 06 Mercedes did not come with factory xenon HID.  I purchased an aftermarket kit that was supposed to be plug and play.  When the kit was installed the lights began flickering like a strobe light.  I first thought that there wasn't enough current coming from the factory headlight harness.  I wired relays and had the exact same problem.  The factory harness detects that the harness is not connected to the H7 halogen bulb and then it begins pulsating.  I  took a meter and tried to measure the resistence of the bulb.  I need to close the circuit and make the harness think it is seeing a bulb so I can you the factory harness as a trigger to turn on the relays for the HID kit.  Any ideas????

P.S.  I have already tried resistors and have had no luck.

Where did you get the constant 12 volts for the relay....? The battery, YES?     The only thing you should use from the factory harness is the trigger. Don't ground it there, and don't get constant voltage there either. Just my suggestion.
