Explain what you mean by "no headlights only brights on flash"

I mean you have your hi brights lo just head lights and then you have that pull back lever for the brights and thats only one that works. It is also only time relay clicks.Like I said I have a haynes manual and it does have diagram but beginer so hard to read. When I installed keyless entry didnt touch anything to do with headlights only parking flash. Every thing was fine when i left truck came back and lights didnt work weird. So what we got is headlights not working switched in brights flash works made sure lights work hi lo. one other thing i did was when they stopped working light connections kind of falling apart so replaced it with 3 crimped connectors to 3 poles on back of switch.

is there an aftermarket switch installed to turn on the headlights?

and

Did you try to turn the headlights on with the ignition on?

wow; that's a very broad question. especially for someone who is trying to install their own keyless entry system.

check out https://www.bcae1.com read through all that is available, that is probably the best place to start for an understanding of DC voltage, relays, etc.

yeah kind of jumped head first into something thought I new basic because of my a/c voltage backgroud and never was to good on motor control which seems to have alot in common with d/c voltage but thanks alot for web site connect.            .

i connected white control wire from audiovox AA-25 keyless entry modual so when I press unlock the lights flash. But even if i disconnect power from modual still dont work.Other then that didnt connect anything to the switch.
