i have these lights...

posted_image

i want the fogs to come on with the low beams (just tap the low beam power wire)
turns on with the turn signals (just tap the wires)
halos on with the park lamps (just tap the wires)

where can i find what color wire is what? i would like to tap the wires in the engine bay as oposed to the cab so i have less wire to run.

It is a 93 GMC Suburban

behind the park lamp, one bulb has lt blue, brown, black and the other blub has dr blue, brown, black. that is the driver side, i dont know if the pass side is the same or different.....

Red taps to the brown (park lites) Blue should go to a turn signal wire for the respective sides. (You'll have to test the wires to figure out which one does what.) turn on the signal and see what light is blinking find the wire behind it. Black is your ground.. I think lt blue is low beam this will power up your relay and when the high beams come on it will cut power to the relay turning off the fogs... I think that may be what your going for...

well i have an added relay already, so my low beams stay on with my hibeams on... i would like all 6 lights on when the highs are on...

still right?

as for the relay, do i need it? can i just go from the white wire at the bulb to fuse than to the headlight wire? what purpose does teh relay serve in this application?

if your los stay in when your highs are on just use the low beam (or high beam) + wire to trigger the relay for your off road lites. So yep I think it is right.. as for the relay yes use it.. you could burn up your headlamp ckt by just powering these up with the vehicls wire.. The relay uses the trigger wire as a sense to pull a switch that goes directly from the batery (or other bigger 12v source)
