Trying to determine witch wire to connect to as to get ground when vehicle is placed into park.  I know it is in one of the 3 wire harnesses under the hood.  any help would be appreciated.

I used the violet wire in the console

Next to the shifter there is a three pin plug, one wire is ground in gear, one is ground in park and one is ground all the time.

It is to the passenger side of the shifter. A small plug.

I don't know if your using it for a siren or not, but I also used a Universal Park Kill Module from Federal Signal. It is just a safer wire of tapping into circuits

let me know if there is anything more I can help you with on it, I just setup a whole bunch of them!

Jon
