I am interested in changing the sealed beam headlights in my old car to newer headlights to make use of improved globe technologies.

What do I need to consider in making choices?  Is the old system compatible? (1980 Lotus Esprit)

Do I need to install other devices or can I go straight from the headlight relay to the new light plug?

Your help is appreciated.  I am new to car electrics.

All you need to do is find a headlight that will fit into the current location without too much modifications. The lights that are available through our supplier com ein the following sizes:

7 7/8" x 5 5/8" These are made by Hella

5.68 " x 8" These are made by Bosch ( High & Low beam in one )
