Fellows,

I am new here, and would like to receive from someone, the instructions to attach a check lamp canceller in the circuit of HID Xenon headlight.

I Know that need a resistor . The question is how many ohm and watt do I need?

The fromer bulb was 12V  55W.

The resistance of the lamp is 0.9 Ohm, mesured between poles of the lamp

I need in reality, emulate the lamp in the circuit to turn off the check lamp which appear a simbol on the instrument like a burnt lamp.

Thanks

Jose

Thank you by your answer, but looks like that you did not understand the question!

The bulb is removed!!! For this reason come up the symbol of burnt lamp at LCD screen.

I am runing the HID Xenon right now

Thanks

i sry when i installed the hids in one of my cars my indacator for burnt head light came on that what i thought happend to you i did not catch that you had another indcator. now to your real  problem i would try a 0.9  resistor in place of the bulb a standard one from radio shack should do the trick. but i have never tried to replace a bulb with a resistor before one last thing if posable relocate the bulb so it is still hooked up but you cant see it. but i see no harm comeing from the resistor
