This may be dumb but I am just trying to double check things. I am hooking up relays to my HID so they will work correctly. I know that 86 is 12volt, 85 neg, 30 HID turn on 87 is suppose to go to the battery with a 20 fuse. Well this is my question which 87 goes to the battery. I have bosch 12v relays 20/30a which are good relays but they have 87 and 87a so do I just hook up one to the battery and leave the other unconnected or do I hook both up to the battery one positive one neg???  Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance!

You will not use 87a. 86, or 85 will be the "trigger" to turn the lights on. I would wire a switch to throw a ground to 85. 12v to 86.
