Hello

Im trying to find out how to make my head lights flash on and off like police cars,fire trucks,ambulances. where both the left and right head lights flash on/off seperitly. so i would like to know if any one could please help me with instructions and what components, and if possible a digram on how to do it.

It's called a wig-wag circuit, and it is easiest just to buy one

thanks alot for the advise il surely try to find a wig-wag circuit.but if i dont tind this wig-wag circuit what other ways would there be?

If you want to build it yourself, look for an astable multivibrator. It is a simple circuit consisting of 2 transistors and a handful of resistors and capacitors- instead of light bulbs or LEDs, use relays as the output device
What complicates things will be how to use the high beams normally. Another relay can be added into the mix to bridge the 2 outputs.

Or; as stated previously, buy one on eBay etc

lol i see wat u mean it is best to find a wig wag.because it sounds like it very complicated to build my own one.thanks again you've been alot of help.

You can build one with a 3 prong turnsignal style flasher and a double pole double throw switch.
