gday all,im just wondering if anyone out there would be able to draw up a diagram for me to wire up 6 100w spotlights to my hilux,im running a relay for each light but am stuck on the whole thing really,i want them to be run into the high beam switch so its all legal, its a 93 hilux 4x4 single cab.
any help with this would be great

You would need to find the wire in the car that reads 12vdc only when the high beams are on. This can be found running directly to the high beam bulb.
Then, you would wire pin 85 of each relay (+ side of coil) to this wire.
Connect pin 86 (- side of coil) directly to ground.
Next, get a fused power wire directly from the battery (guage and fuse will be dependent on total load of all added lights) and run that wire to pin 30 (common) of every relay.
Finally, pin 87 (NO output) will go from a single relay to a single bulb.
Don't forget to fuse the power wire within 18" of the battery.

I would switch the wires going into pin 87 and 30...
Run the power wire to 87 and put the lights on 30... This will be safer since the power does not jump to an open terminal on the relays but still make connection when the relay is activated. VERY unlikely anything would happen in the previous suggestion, but better safe than sorry, yes?
