alright so i wanna put simple little fog lights onto my 95 civic ex 2dr and i wanna know how i would go about putting fog lights into the front bumper while wiring it to a toggle switch in the dash.  is there anything special i'd have to do besides just finding a constant and ground... i.e. possibly using a relay to maybe increase the signal so its not straining?   can i just run the power off the battery and find a good ground... but run a switch from the positive lead so i can choose when i want them on

let me know

thanks

The 'typcial' way is to wire the fog lights directly to the battery through a relay (pin 30 goes to battery, pin 87 goes to fog lights).  You would then hood a switch up to the coil of the relay (relay pin 86 goes to ground, pin 85 goes to switch).

The other side of the switch can either be hooked to your low beams (to meet applicable road worthyness laws) or to an ignition source (so you can't leave them on when the car is off).
