hi there i have a 1989 Nissan 240sx and what i would like to do is basically have my original signal light in and then have an additional signal light bulb attached using a different socket but the problem is i want this additional light to be the blinking light and not turn on when i turn on the dash lights but i want the original light to turn on with the dash lights but not blink? does this make any sense haha

so you want to have your current signal light function as a parking light, and the new lights work as signals?

yes exactly or the other way around if its easier
