HID "plug and play" kit for 96 Olds LSS

drivers light flickers and sometimes fails to light. I have restart car.

passenger side doesn't flicker and lights up right away, all the time

once both lights startup they work flawlessly

I switched balasts but drivers side still flickers on startup

Seems to be a voltage issue because when I disconnect the passenger balast the drivers side lights up right away. If I reconnect the passenger balast the drivers light flickers on startup.

I don't know much about this topic so any help would be appreciated.

You may need to use relay to power up the system.  Seems like your car does not give enough current cu\ausing it to fail sometimes.  Use relays to give the lights extra power and the problem should be solved.
