Hey everyone,

I have a quick question here. I purchased a 60 LED VU meter off of Ebay from a reliable seller. The problem I am having is this:

When I went to install, I used the acc. plug in in my fuse box for the 12v power. I found a suitable ground and hooked the ground wire up to it. However, when I did this, the VU meter did not light at all.  I used a circuit tester to make sure my ground and 12v supply were good and it checked out.. All connections to the unit and car looked good.

I wasn't sure my connections were good at first, but when I hooked up the ground I saw a little spark so I know that power is going through the VU meter, right?

Does anyone have any suggestions as to something else I can try? The seller won't email me back and I feel like I got took but really want the VU meter installed.

Thanks for your help!

One more thing - the unit is designed to work between 11.5v and 14v per the seller.
