I have an underbody neon kit hooked up to my car. I have the toggle switch mounted under my dash, but i would love to have a wireless remote to turn them on. Anyone have any idea where to find a power source shut off and on wireless that can fit on a key ring? like a car alarm fob or lock/unlock.

Parts express used to sell a 3 channel RF receiver.  I'm not sure if they still do, but something like that shouldn't be hard to find.

Do you have an alarm on your car?   If so does it have an output on it?

might work, but how would you get power to it? could hide it under the dash.

I don't think that X10 would work in a car. I use X10 at home and it's made for 110v applications. And having an inverter on in a car 24/7 would probably drain your battery...

Some models of LED/Neon underbody kits come with a wireless controller, but adding one might be complicated.

Installing an cheap alarm module could work. You wouldn't have to connect it completely, just the power wires and using the auxiliary output (like the trunk button) with some relays might be your best choice if you don't find anything that fits your needs. You might find one for 40-50 bucks (new or even less for a used module) on ebay or check your local classifieds.
