anything with a sweeet guitar solo....favorite band is nightwish, seems to be what i'm in the mood for most of the time, sort of a metal operaish music i guess, but i'll get my rob zombie/ramstein/disturbed/stuff like it days, also the electronica days (only the best stuff, i hate listening to the really repetitive garbage stuff that was just thrown together for stoners at raves) or the days i dont feel like listening to anything but the sweet sound of car engine.  only music i dont like is the underground rap...specially when the neighbors play it on a $5 system.

As a musician (drummer) I have to say Rush (Neil is the bomb) Dave Matthews and the Beatles.  Anything that rocks and also a tune that the beat kind of carries the song along as a story like most beatle tunes.

"RUSH" is the bomb and you don't have to be old to like any type of music.  I am 23 but, as a drummer and musician RUSH IMO is a great band.  One of the few 3 piece bands I will see in my life that is that well put together.  I was called old how cool is that LOL.

Peace

Pink Floyd, the wall Disc 1, "Goodbye Blue Sky" is my absolute favorite song in my car because it has really deep smooth bass that you can feel internally.  It makes me want to listen to it right now... Damn work!!!

I like a lot of Rap mostly west coast like Dr Dre, but my favorite songs are classic rock and some jazz; I pretty much like every genre except for country.

Pretty much anything with bass, and especially bass that is surprising; like one of those songs that you hear on someone else's stock system and then you hear it on your own and you really realize what they were missing... I am sure you guys know.

I listen to everything from classical to acid rock. Whatever my mood is really. My favorite type of music is rock though, and my fav. band is AC/DC, followed by Jimmy Hendrix
