pre clipped tracks?

so i was talkig to a buddy of mine, and he went to a jl class school thing. and they were talking about pre cliped music, most artist, most meaning cose to all new artists and cds when remastered are preclipped, and not true cuts odf the music, and are the cause for a lot of the speakers blowing b/c when te final cut odf the music goes ointo the cd its made with distortionalreadsy, and when played in a system with everything amplified it just makes it that much worse, i was wondering if anyone had anything to say about this and any suggestion of what is a good full range cd or a record lable without pre clippedge....
