I drive a 1999 ford escort . I have the after market adapter with a Pioneer DEH-P2600 radio and all pioneer speakers( so i have premium sound) . I want to install a sub woofer in my car but I'm new at this and i really have no clue what I'm going to be doing , i wondering if there any diagrams to help me with the process . I was also wondering if the "Pioneer Bass Package
GM-7300M mono sub woofer amplifier Two TS-W301R 12" sub woofers
Q-Logic dual hatchback box"
is a good set to start off with it? and i was also wondering if some one can tell me the right kind of speaker wiring and amp install ion kit to buy ? I'm sorry if there is already a post about this or a specific section on this. Thanks guys and I'm sorry if this is wrong place .
Before you jump into that package, tell us what your budget is, and how firm you are in that budget.
For the money you are looking to spemd on that setup, we might be able to get you something better.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
At crutch field that package is only 179. Plus wiring 221.29 all together . But my budget is about 300-350 . Its not a lot but its all i can work with
The 350 is a much better number, and we can likely get you much better than the Pioneer...
Can you build your own enclosure? If you can, that'll save you a bit to put toward your gear. Pre-made boxes (with the exceptions of the ones that tcss is selling - ask him about 'em!) are generally cheap, and very poorly constructed. You serve yourself better building a custom box for one good 12, than what you've described in your OP.

Here's a SLAMMIN' woofer for the bennies!
Another serious contender...
Here's a decent amp for the money, and it'll match that woofer pretty well, too!
You might end up a hair over your 350 dollar design goal, but it'll be WAY better than the 180 for the ripoff Pioneer "bass package".
