I've installed into two other cars with no problem.. i have a 1999 sonata. and i have connected everything.. but the power just flickers on and off occassionally.. i have reconnected all the wires multiple times.. and still the same problem.. any suggestions?

What are you doing to get the power to flicker on and off? Check your ground to make sure its good. You might try to ground it in another spot. Also, check you power to you fuse, you may have a loose wire, or the fuse, if its the new blade style, may have gone to the outside of the receptor and not in between the two prongs. Also, the plug on the back of the radio may have a loose connector. Good luck and break out the ohm meter.
