Thanks for any response and sorry if this has been asked before I searched the forums to no avail. I am having a little trouble wiring two 12" kicker l7s to a Hifonics Brutus 1606d amp. The amp outputs 1600 watts @ 1 ohm; it claims to only be one channel, but there are positive and negative connections for 2 amps(this is how I have them now and the output seems very low). My question is accourding to this link https://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=42, I just bridge the two speakers into one connection at the amp?

The top picture is what you want to do.

there's no bridging involved, bridging happens at the amp, and a single channel amp can't be bridged.  You're just wiring coils in parallel and subs in parallel resulting in a 1 ohm load at the amp.

you could also run a seperate speaker lead for each sub as long as both subs' coils are wired parallel the amp still sees 1 ohm.

there are two pairs of speaker outputs to allow for easier connection of multiple speaker leads, not beause there 2 channels out of the amp.
