Guys, and girls. It's interesting because i am confused. See i have everything hooked up and my amp turns on but its not pushing anything to the subs. Any possible reasons why it does not work will be appreciated and i know there are a lot of reasons.

The most likely causes: 1. No signal from head unit 2. Subs not hooked up or not hooked up correctly 3. bad head unit (no output) 4. bad amp (no output) 5. bad subs (blown)
If you have another known-good source unit you can try plugging it in to the amp to rule out it is a signal in problem.
If you have an ohm meter you can disconnect the subs and measure their resistance to make sure they are connected properly. Past that, it will be best to swap components out until you find out which one is causing the problem. ------------- Kevin Pierson

Well, i am not sure because i am a total loser when it comes to this stuff, but me and my friend have tried a couple amps so far and the same thing keeps happening. Amp turns on but will not play the bass. We bought new RCA cables, a new Stereo deck, new sub woofer and even a new box.

I would check to see how the subs are connected to the amp as well. How many subs are there (just 1 it sounds like). How many channels does the amp have?
