guys i need some help, how to calculate time alignment? for alpine pxa 701 & TA for clarion, i trouble to find the fix calculation for TA, every time i ask to some one they give me diffirent answer, by the way i am from indonesia, thanks Bro

Since the arrival of sound from the speakers to your ears is influenced by many first and second order reflections in a car, setting time alignment by ear is the best way to get a solid center image. Of course, proper speaker locations and phasing of speakers is the trues best way, since adjusting arrival times only fixes one spot in the car and wreaks havoc on every other location in the car.

Well you could use the microphone and allow the PXA-701 to set itself up automatically. If you need to do it manually, simply use a tape measure and measure the linear distance from the center of each loudspeaker to the primary listening position (the driver's head) or, if you're looking for a more general alignment, use a location at about ear level between the two front seats. Then see page 8 of your PXA-701 owner's manual and follow the instructions. ------------- Support the12volt.com

thanks guy for your replies, and for kfr01, yeah i read that on manual book alpine, but if you use that calculate and listen with five piano track its still cannot be perfect
