The other day I was in Cash Converters (while my lady was in Fashion bug shopping) just looking around at the different subs they had. I took notice they had a pair of 12" earthquake tremors ( I think) in a sealed box. Both subs surrounds were messed up. The one had a piece of the surround ripped off though it wasnt all the way through. The other one has a U shape slice in big ebough to fit my thumb through. Now I know that affects the sound. Now I know wouldnt come close to buying those subs the way they were. but what if someone needed subs and didnt have alot of money to go buy real expensive subs. Is there a way to fix that slice?

Yes, surrounds can be replaced.

What is "Cash Converters?" A pawn shop?

Yes. Cash Converters is a pawn shop. I do some shopping there but will never buy any car audio from them. I know surrounds can be replaced. But lets say someone goes and buys these subs basically knowing nothing about being able to replace the surround. Is it possible to glue or patch that area?

I love pawn shops, even to buy car audio. I've bought older Soundstreams and have even found a few of the older HCCA 225's.
