alright fellas this is the question. i have 2 jl w6 v.2 10s. as of right now they are both runnin parallel series of a kicker zx 400x1. i also own a ppi 400x2. and just outta curiosity i wanted to rund each sub independently  from each seperate amp. now does anybody have a idea of what the conclusion will be?

Nothing detrimental will happen, with the possible exception of not exactly the same frequency response, due to damping, cable interactions, whatever. It will work, and nothing will break, but instead of one woofer per amp, run one voice coil from each woofer (rather than both coils on each woofer), to each amplifier. Then set the gains appropriately.

If this is difficult to imagine, pretend the woofers are SVC models, and you have one amp (each will be a "set"). Then, once THAT "set" is connected, do the same for the other "set".
