i was having problems with my cd player so i installed a new panasonic unit. i hooked up everything proper but my cd player has no sound. the cd plays but no sound comes from the unit. the radio works so i know everything is wired proper. there is an extra little harness with two cables that was for the stock unit, im not sure what they do, but shoudlnt the cd player play music if everything else works? i hooked the unit up in another car and it played fine in that one, not sure what to do?????????please help.......

What system was in the Jeep? basic or premium.

Did you use a harness adapter? if you did not.... are ALL of the wires from the black plug connected?

See if you have a dk.grn/red NOT connected to an output from the deck. (remote turn on)
