Does anybody know if it's possible to reverse mount a JL Audio W7?  It's unique mounting method tells me it's not possible, or at least very difficult.

You would have to mount it to a baffel, then mount the baffel to the enclosure.  I'm planning on doing this in the shops demo vehicle, finishing it off with a removable fiberglass skin flush with the subwoofer to hide any seams.

Could I just use the baffle it comes mounted to already?

I wouldn't use the shipping baffle, although I suppose you could rig a way to mount it onto an enclosure.  Just mount the speaker to the front baffle BEFORE the baffle is installed onto the enclosure.  Screw the baffle into place in a way that it can be removed if the speaker ever needs to be removed.

Sounds good.  Makes it alot easier to build my box too because i'm not very handy with wood and wasn't sure how to cut the circular rings.

Thank you.
