Boston Acoustics, MB Quart, Alpine, Pioneer, Zapco, Xtant & Audio Control. I choose some high end companies that are good at only one thing and bring in companies that can do everything and still be reasonable for prices. ------------- Jeff

it's not that easy. As you've probably found out by now. I have a friend in Miami who owns 3 audio stores and he has a hard time getting some brands just because other stores already have certain lines and will threaten to pull product off the shelves if they let anybody else in the area carry the same lines. so,it depends on your area & who else is already selling what in that area.

pay attention to Jeff (Velocity...)
you dont want to carry the top 7 most expensive brands because A) not everyone has heard of the elitist type brands and usually people arent comfortable laying down a couple thousand dollars for an amp that they have never heard of before...and B) alot of people plain and simply dont have the money to be buying all of these brands...
it would be a hard call really, but I would have to say Alpine, MTX, Pioneer, Audio Control, a/d/s/, JL, and Diamond...
for contact info on becoming a dealer of most brands, the best place to go is their website and contact them that way...

It's nice to suggest some of these brands, but you can not carry all these brands at the same store. That's why when you try to become a dealer they ask you what brands you already carry. Oh, yea you forgot about Pioneer/ Premier, Kenwood, Alpine, Sony, Kicker, RF, you know the stuff people can afford. Also the name association thing means alot in this business! Good luck with your store.
Also I have never seen a new store carry any of these brands out the gate.

Store i bought my system from has a few higher ends in it: Eclipse, Diamond, Focal, MB Quart, plus some others: Panasonic, Ultimate. I believe Eclipse and Diamond have a rule of no other stores that carry their stuff within so many miles of each other. I liked them because they carried "Different" brands than most of the other local stores who all seem to carry the main ones, RF, Kicker, MTX, Alpine.
