ok, I have just bought a new stereo package that came with 6" door speakers, 6x9's and the headunit

I have just finished wiring all of the speakers to the headunit

and I am left with 4 wires coming from my car ( 1993 Galant viento ) and only 2 wires coming from my head unit

I found on this website the wires that I have left from 1993 Mitsubishi Galant Stereo Information

Those wires are : - Constant 12V+

                            - Switched 12V+

                            - Illumination

                            - and Dimmer

The wires coming from my headunit are:

                            - Battery 15A

                     and - ACC

Can someone please help me out ??

"Battery" = "Constant." ; "ACC" = "Switched 12v."  If your HU cannot use the dimmer or illumination leads, tape them off and leave them unconnected.

nah..that doesnt work..my brother had it in last night and it was working but I took it out because he had four wires all taped together and it seemed a bit dodgy to me..also the car clock and electric windows weren't working either when he did that..any other suggestions?? also (im a bit of a noob to this stuff) does it do any damage if I connect the wrong wires and turn the car on?  because im scared that I might do something wrong :P

Ah, YEA....  Sounds like you've already blown some fuses.  Check all your underhood and under dash fuses.  The wiring I listed is correct, but from the sounds of it you may have a bunch of other problems.  Did you hack off the car's wiring harness connector or use an adapter?

well my brother just used wire cutters and clipped em all off lol.. then he just wired the speaker wires from the headdeck to the new speakers we put in, and then he tried all sorts of wire combinations for the battery etc..I told him it will probably do something because I read the manual before we started.. but he just kept doing what he was doing..too cooky hehe :P ill go look for the fuses etc..what should I be looking for ?
