hi there, i have a system that im looking for a little help on setting up. the equipment i have is as follows

Pioneer DEH-P85BT headunit
alpine pdx-1.1000 mono amp
lanzar 1232d 12" subwoofer running at 4 ohms
1 ported box

was wondering wat kind of settings i should be putting the amp and head unit on?? i have read about subsonic filters on here and wat should i set tem to for the lanzar??

at present i have the amp set at half gain & 130hz on the filter

Do a search for "setting amp gains". it will walk you through how to properly setup the gains on the amps, where to put the volume on your headunit, all that good stuff. The settings will be different for every system, just read and have fun tuning...

Post back when you've read enough to understand the process of setting amp gain to match headunit output, if you have something to ask about it.  As for the sub amplifier, set lowpass to the range of 80 to 100 Hz (experimental), and set subsonic filter to the tuning freq of the box.
