the connections may be clean, but have you tested with a DMM too see if you are getting 12V Constant and Switch and that you have a good ground? If you have these checked these connections and are getting voltage, contact the manufacturer of the amp for service

Check your grounds and your remote line. Use a DMM and test the voltage of the remote line at the HU and at the amp. Are you using the factory HU or an aftermarket? Did you hook the remote up to the remote turn on wire at the HU, or to the power antenna wire?

I have the power antenna wire hooked up right off the HU. Its an after market HU. I'll try testing acouple of those things.

Does the amp turn on when you are playing the radio?  If so, then you need to use the amplifier turn-on wire (it's usually blue/white instead of the power antenna's all blue wire).

Some head units have fuses built in to the remote turn on line, and it is possible that yours may have blown.  Usually they're in a lil plastic in-line tube thingy and you can't tell if its blown or not unless you open it up.  Of course if you have a multimeter, it makes testing all these connections a lot easier.

I was looking at my wire harness and it only has the power antenna wire. There isn't an amp turn on wire(just the all blue one). I changed the fuse on the amp but that did nothing. The amp has power, the 12v wire is hot but it just wont turn on

From your harness you should have a (Switch / Accessory) red wire. Used this wire and run it to your amp. remote. Check it with a multimeter first. You should get a 12 volts reading with the inition switch on.

If all else fails, try hoking your remote turn on directly to the ignition harness. Be sure to use a DMM to get the correct wire for 12v acc.

The power antenna wire wasn't turning my amp on so i hooked it directly to the 12v switched wire
