hey guys i am looking to add a sub to my '04 530i. i am wondering what the best way to go about it is, i really dont want to just use a line-out converter, however if it is a viable option i will go with that. any suggestions would be appreciated, including the best way to wire it in, and where these wires might be located in the car.

it does not have the HK system, and i, to be honest, am not sure how the audio system in this vehicle is set up.

thanks
louie

We use the RE-Q for integration into any of the systems that have low level outputs from the deck. Great piece that works flawlessly.

i was wondering how well the Re-Q was working for everyone. i am going to look into that piece.

do you happen to know how the factory system is wired in that car. it has idrive, and therefore i am not sure where the radio is, or if there is an amplifier. i assume my best bet would be to find a non-amplified full range signal somewhere, but i am not sure where the somewhere will be in that car.

thanks
louie
