i have two headrest dvd/tv monitors on my seats and one of the doesnt show any thing. whats the problem? what should i check?

Umm, check to see if your Video RCA is sending signal, make sure you have power and ground going to the monitor. Check the fuse on it if it has one.

how can i check if my video rca are sending a signal?

Connect that RCA to your other "working" screen, or grab a little tv from the house and plug it in.
