I have an older (I'm not really sure on the date-I bought it on ebay) Rampage by Audiovox head unit. It is a cassette player with aux 1/8 inch input. Now to my problem. The display works; all the buttons seem to work. When I increase or decrease the volume I can hear beeps. But when I have it tuned into radio, I get no music, no static, absolutely nothing out of the speakers. This holds true when I try a cassette and the 1/8 inch aux input.
Could a fuse be the problem here? There are 2 fuses that came wired from the head unit. One .5 amp fuse from the red wire that keeps power to the memory, and one 8 amp fuse that sits inside the yellow main power wire. There is also a filter that came wired into a wire in my head unit. Could any of these parts be the source of my problem?
Any and all help is appreciated. I came to you guys because if you can't help me it's unlikely anyone can. Thank you.

If the unit is coming on, both of your fuses are fine.  Does the beeping sound come from the speakers or does it come from inside the radio?

The beeping sound is definately coming from the speakers. Also, it sounds like it's supposed to beep when I change the volume, if that makes any sense.

Did you connect the power antenna wire. even though it may not be a power antenna  I messed up once and didnt connect this and had the same problem you are describing.

I was thinking that the output chip of the radio was bad.  But if you are sure the beep is coming out of the speakers, we can rule that out.  It is not the power antenna wire.  If that was the case you would not hear the beep.
