wiring subs confusion

Well I am looking at this chart. And I am confused cause it says to go - to - but its a positive voice coil? can someone explain how this works! thank you

you r saying there are to positives on one side sounds wrong or maybe you have the speaker turned the wrong way take a pic of the sub and we will go from there

Yea you probably have the sub turned the wrong way and its messing you up. The only other thing I can think of is that there are 2 positives on one side and 2 negatives on the other side, but I doubt that.

The diagram you show above is an illustration.  It doesn't necessarily have the polarity of the coils in the exact locations as your particular sub does.  When drawing a diagram, you can put things anywhere you want to (just take a look at some of my diagrams ;#).  Just follow the wiring lines shown in the diagram and attach each end to the polarity the diagram shows.

Any coil will have both a positive and a negative terminal.  Make sure you first identify each set of coil terminals before you start connecting wires.
