Hi guys,
I recently installed a new deck Innovatek IN-354DTM in my 99 honda prelude. Bought a wire harness for my car. Solder and plug it in my car. Everything works good. Except when i crank the volume high. The speakers chirp or cut off, from high and then low sound, back and fort.

Do you guys have any idea what is causing this? My stock deck sounds really good and loud with no problem.

any inputs would be great.

Thanks.
Al

Does the Prelude have the Acoustic Feedback (AFB) System ? If so, you will need to re-wire the speakers or remove them altogether for aftermarket ones.

from what Velocity is saying the way to bypass it is by re-wiring all the speakers to the new HU. Personally I would get new speakers instead of re-wiring but maybe that is because I hate going through doorboots so much.
