I have 2 Rockford power hx2 dvc 12's and they are 1000 watts rms each, I also have 2 2000 watt amps. The amps aren't matching, one is a Lanzar heritage 2000 watt class d mono 1 channel and the other is a Profile 2000 watt 2 channel. Should I run one amp to each sub or just use the lanzar and wire the subs to 1 ohm load?

Two DVC subs... what is the impedance per coil?

Your post hints that they are DVC 4 ohm subs, wired parallel / parallel to get a final 1 ohm.  That's not going to work with a Lanzar amplifier.  Forget the Profile 2 channel.

Your gear is mismatched, but you can work something out with some of what you have on hand while you work on getting your system right.  Wired differently, the subs can amount to a 4 ohm load.  Get a 2 channel amplifier that will provide the power you want and bridge the channels at 4 ohms (use the Profile for a temporary quick fix).  Or pick up another of those Lanzars and put a sub at 2 ohms onto each one.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Both of the subs are 2 ohms.
