I was told that a late model lexus alternator . would fit and it was twice the max output. my current car is a 90 toyota celica GT 2.2 L . If anyone knows what lexus that is. it would be a ton of help

Well, since Lexus has to run more acessories than toyota, I would think that these would be much higher output than toyota alternators. Also, since the newer model cars have more components now, I would bet that the new lexus alternators probably have almost twice that of what you have now. The only thing I wouldn't know about is if it will fit your car. Since it is made by lexus, then I would think it would be close.

Lemme ask my brother. He works for a toyota dealership, and he has many friends that work for Lexus.

I need your VIN. PM it to me, and I'll ask him about what's available as a drop-in replacement.
