I have an Alpine SWS-1022D (the 2x2ohm version)

This evening, I discovered that the rattling noise coming from it is the plastic ring to which the spider is attached, vibrating against the basket.

It looks like it's only loose on one side. Does anyone here have any suggestions on how to fix this? I'm hoping I don't need to replace the sub, because I happen to like it, and I don't really feel like dropping a hundred bucks or more on another one.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

If you can get in there with some epoxy or something like that, that may work.

Yea that's what I was thinking - can you just gingerly glue it a bit?
